Update I have moved to Muncie, Indiana. The children have moved out & are starting their adult lives in California.
We are the Farley's, Jana, Jennifer and Joshua. Jana, Jennifer Nichole and Joshua Brent Alexander and our two Boxers, in northern California in the foothills of the Sierras, a small quiet little town called Valley Springs. We enjoy the peaceful country life. I (Jana) spend most of my time with my Boxers. I'm the third generation in my family with the privilege of having Boxers. My main interest in the Boxer breed is Obedience Training, I have been doing obedience for over 30 years. I find the Boxer is always willing to learn new and exciting things and most happy to please their owner, provided you train your Boxer in a kind and loving manner, and that you change the pattern of training, so they do not get bored. Most Boxers are high energy, which means they need lots of exercise. Although they enjoy the outdoor life, Boxers are easily chilled and over heated, it is important that you make sure your Boxer is kept comfortable. Boxers do best by being INSIDE. Daily exercise and romping is a must for the Boxer. I also spend each Saturday co-instructing Obedience Classes. There we teach and show the students of all ages, how to work with their pet to make them the best Canine Good Citizen and well mannered companion. |
